The energy of Red Sands Reiki isn't limited by location. Distance and virtual sessions are available, allowing you to experience healing, guidance and connection wherever you are. Red Sands Reiki can also come to you. Private gatherings, retreats, special events and customized wellness experiences can be created for your space, group or organization.

THE RED SANDS REIKI EXPERIENCE
90 minutes where nothing is required of you.
The outside world begins to disappear the moment you walk through the door. Whatever life looked like before you arrived, the responsibilities, the noise, the endless thinking, the feeling that you should be doing something, gets to stay outside for a while.
We begin by sitting together. There is no rushed intake and no expectation that you know what you need. We talk about what has been happening in your life, what you've been carrying, where you feel stuck, and what you would like to feel differently. Sometimes all you know is that something feels off. That's enough.
Then, you rest.
You'll settle comfortably onto the Reiki table, fully clothed and tucked beneath a blanket. From there, there is nothing you need to do. You might feel warmth, tingling, heaviness, lightness or a deep sense of calm. You might notice very little at all and simply drift into the kind of rest you haven't allowed yourself in a long time. There is no right way to experience this.
Reiki forms the heart of your experience. Depending on what feels appropriate for you, I may also weave in elements of sound healing, weighted tuning forks, crystals, guided meditation, breathwork or gentle hypnotic suggestion. These aren't a checklist of treatments to get through. Your session unfolds intuitively and is shaped around you.
You don't have to believe in anything.
You don't need to understand energy. You don't need to know how Reiki works. You don't need to be spiritual, meditate, clear your mind or arrive in the right frame of mind. You can come tired. You can come overwhelmed. You can come skeptical. You can come carrying something you can’t put into words.
You simply get to receive.
And when your session is finished, we take our time. There is space to talk about what you experienced, sit quietly for a moment, or simply enjoy the feeling of not having to rush immediately back into the world.
This is your 90 minutes. Not another appointment to squeeze into your day. Not another thing you need to be good at. Just a quiet, carefully held space where, for once, you don't have to take care of anyone else.

First Degree Reiki at Red Sands Reiki is an immersive three-day experience, taught in an intimate, small-group setting. There is time to learn. Time to ask questions. Time to practice. And, importantly, time to experience Reiki for yourself.
You'll explore the foundations and principles of Reiki, learn how to work confidently with the energy, and spend significant hands-on time both giving and receiving Reiki.
I teach Reiki in a way that is grounded, practical and deeply experiential. My background as a former Registered Nurse informs the way I approach the body, safety and professional practice, while my years of energy work and spiritual practice bring another layer to how Reiki is understood and experienced. You won't simply leave knowing the steps. You'll understand how to begin trusting yourself with them.

The Crystal & Magic Shop at Red Sands Reiki is a little different from an ordinary shopping trip. There is no need to know exactly what you're looking for. Take your time. Wander through one of Prince Edward Island's largest collections of crystals and discover the pieces that have a funny way of finding the right hands at the right moment.
Explore an ever-changing collection of crystals, Tarot and oracle decks, spell candles, books, essential oils, sacred herbs, ritual tools, smudging supplies, singing bowls and mystical treasures chosen for both the curious and the experienced practitioner.
You'll also find handcrafted creations from The Velvet Underground Inc., Krista's own collection of incense, ritual goods and other wonderfully witchy things made right here at Red Sands Reiki.
Stay awhile.
Pull up a chair. Let your shoulders drop. Have a conversation. Ask questions. Or simply wander quietly and see what catches your attention. Red Sands Reiki isn't meant to be a shop you need to rush through.
And yes, it smells wonderful in here. Maybe it's the sage. Maybe it's the incense. Or maybe this is simply what a space smells like after holding sacred intention for long enough that some of it has become part of the walls.
There's more outside the door, too.
Take a walk along the meditation path, see what's blooming in the gardens, wander toward the red shores, or stop for a while and take in the view of the Confederation Bridge. Sometimes the best part of visiting is simply having nowhere else you need to be for a little while.

No experience is necessary. Bring your own deck or come a little early and discover one in the shop.

Sound Baths
You don't have to try to relax. You just have to arrive.
When was the last time you genuinely stopped? Not paused between tasks. Not scrolled until you fell asleep. Actually stopped. Put everything down and allowed yourself to do absolutely nothing. A sound bath gives you that space.
Settle onto a padded mat, get comfortable beneath your blanket, close your eyes, and let the sounds and vibrations of the crystal singing bowls fill the room. There is nothing to follow. Nothing to accomplish. Nothing required of you except the willingness to receive.
As the bowls begin to sing, the noise of the outside world starts to fade. Thoughts can become quieter. Muscles soften. Breathing slows. And for a little while, you can simply exist without needing to be anywhere else.
Many people leave feeling deeply rested, lighter, calmer and clearer, sometimes surprised by just how much they needed the experience.
Bring a pillow and blanket and come comfortable. Padded floor mats and chairs are provided.

There is something about gathering at the turning of the seasons.
For generations, people have gathered beneath the moon, around the fire, and at the changing of the seasons to pause, reflect and reconnect, with themselves, with one another, and with the rhythms of the natural world.
At Red Sands Reiki, Seasonal Celebrations are inspired by the Wheel of the Year, honouring the ancient festivals that mark the continual cycle of growth, harvest, release, rest and renewal.
Each celebration is different, thoughtfully created around the meaning and energy of the season. You may experience ritual, guided meditation, reflection, energy work, intention-setting and a little magic, woven together in a way that feels welcoming whether you've practiced for years or are simply curious.
And you'll receive a specially created spell kit to take home, allowing a little of the experience, and its intention, to continue beyond the gathering.
You don't have to know the traditions.
Come in jeans or a flowing cloak. Come wonderfully witchy or quietly curious. There is nothing you need to know beforehand and no particular way you need to show up.
These gatherings can be meaningful without being heavy. There may be quiet moments and sometimes tears. These aren't generic relaxation meditations. Each one is a journey, woven with guided imagery, reflection and gentle hypnotic suggestion to help you explore what the moon is illuminating, what you may be ready to release, and what you are ready to call forward.

A confidential, heart-centred gathering where you don't have to arrive polished, positive or pretending everything is fine. What is shared stays within the circle, and you are welcomed exactly as you are.

Gather three of your favourite humans and step into 90 minutes of tea, divination, laughter and a little unexpected magic.
Your Tea Leaf Reading Party begins over a beautifully steeped cup of tea as you're introduced to tasseography, the traditional art of reading the shapes and symbols left behind by tea leaves. You'll learn how to turn the cup, discover the images hiding among the leaves, and explore what they might be saying to the person holding it.
Then we'll bring out the pendulums and explore another form of divination, learning how to work with them, ask questions and begin discovering what happens when you stop overthinking and allow intuition into the conversation.

Sunday mornings at Red Sands Reiki are an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with your body. Led by certified yoga instructor Cailyn, each class is welcoming, thoughtfully paced and designed to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you've never rolled out a yoga mat or have practiced for years, there is no perfect pose to achieve and no expectation that your body move in any particular way.
Just movement, breath and an hour that belongs to you. Chairs are always available, making the practice adaptable for different bodies, abilities and levels of experience.
And when Prince Edward Island weather cooperates, we take the practice outside, surrounded by gardens, fresh salt air, the red shoreline and views toward the Confederation Bridge.
