This isn’t just any New Moon. This New Moon is a little different- it’s a Black Moon. A Black Moon is the appearance of a rare second New Moon that occurs within a single calendar month or as the third new moon in an astronomical season that contains four new moons instead of the usual three. Between the Summer Solstice on June 21 and the Autumn Equinox on September 22, we will be given four new moons instead of three. This falls on the night of August 23rd.
In magic and mysticism, a Black Moon carries deeply potent and transformative energy. It's a night of magical darkness, when the veil between worlds is thinner, making it ideal for inner reflection, banishing, and letting go of what no longer serves you. This supports the clearing of the emotional and spiritual space needed for new growth and manifestation.

Join me for a Circle Ceremony under the Black Moon. A circle ceremony is a sacred gathering, where a circle is cast to create a protected and focused space for magic, healing, and ritual. The circle represents the infinite, the wholeness of the universe, and serves as a boundary that keeps energies contained and directed for the highest good of all. It is a liminal place where time and space bend, allowing participants to connect with universal energy, the collective energy of the Circle, and their own inner power.
