Mabon Ceremony: Bound in Balance

I have been hearing it from so many of you lately. Grief that has no clear place to land. The exhaustion of holding everything for everyone else. The quiet loneliness of being the strong one, the capable one, the one who never gets asked how she is actually doing. I hear you, and I understand exactly what this season is asking of you.

I reworked my Mabon ceremony specifically to hold that. Mabon falls at the equinox, when day and night stand in perfect balance before tipping toward the dark half of the year, and this ceremony asks the same of you. What have you carried this year, and what did it actually cost you to carry it.

Through ritual, a guided release into the earth, and a shared chalice to fill what that release makes room for, you will be led gently through sorting what is yours to keep from what you are finally ready to set down.

Once the circle closes, the celebration begins. We will share cakes and ale together. A time to laugh, connect, and celebrate one another exactly as we are. Women who show up for the world all year long, finally showing up for each other.

You do not need to explain anything here. You do not need to have it figured out. For one night, you can put all of it down and let yourself be held. I will hold the space so you do not have to hold anything at all.
